about

The first five cuts ("Side 1" if this was an LP) are Fred's return to Dreamworld, recorded 1983-85 while residing in Anaheim, California. These were inspired by the purchase of an Oberheim Xpander. The next three are Fred's foray into New Wave/Electro-Pop, but of course those progressive touches just never go away in Fred's music. The last two cuts are warped "cover tunes", one of a disco song deploring disco songs, the other the first song of a rewrite of a famous rock opera, this version called "Tricky Dick Superstar".
